Letter to Polensky & Zöllner, 24 November 1947

On behalf of and in the name of the Münster Waterways Authority, I hereby inform you that the construction project “New Glane culvert” is being postponed indefinitely for time-related and technical reasons.

All work must therefore be suspended, except for work that is absolutely essential to safeguard equipment and materials.
I request that this work be carried out in consultation with the Ladbergen Canal Construction Management.

All equipment currently on site is hereby placed at your disposal. However, I would be grateful if you could let me know whether the Jäger crane can still be made available to the site management for a while longer for the purpose of loading stored building materials, and, if so, under what conditions.

The contract concluded with you regarding the new construction of the Glane culvert is to be terminated. I would ask you to send me your proposal regarding the settlement of the contract and the clearance of the construction site at your earliest convenience. I am happy to be available for further discussion.

I would like to express my sincere thanks for your efforts to date on behalf of the Waterways Authority.
